BERRYMAN'S HARLEY DAVIDSON captures a rare moment in time showcasing early motorcycle culture and fashion. It depicts a vintage street scene in Washington D.C. centered around a Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealership situated a few blocks from the White House. A man, assumed to be the owner, J.S. Berryman, dressed in early 20th-century attire, sits confidently astride a blue 1915 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. To his right, another classic motorcycle, a 1914 Excelsior, and to his left, with a red and white color scheme, is a 1910 Pierce, the first American motorcycle with a four-cylinder engine and shaft drive. In the background, a group of five people stand on the sidewalk near the entrance of the dealership, The shop window displays the words "Slightly Used Motorcycles" and "Harley-Davidson Motorcycles."
